Print Solid Characters, Verifiable Bar Codes and Sharply-Defined Graphics

Advanced piezo-electric technology is perfect for bar codes. It generates over a million drops of ink per second for high-speed printing of high-density images. PEL Series printheads produce a full range of quality marks--up to two-inch tall solid, letter-quality special characters and alphanumerics at line speeds up to 400 fpm; high-density, verifiable bar codes, and high-quality logos and graphics at up to 250 fpm.

• Print height ranges from 1/8" to 2". PEL Series printheads are available in three print resolutions: 96-, 192- or 256-dots per vertical inch. 32 addressable channels offer print matrices from 5-dot to 32-dot for up to five lines of text. Font style options include bold, condensed, slanted, upper and lower case, inverted and reverse print

• Print SCC-14 bar codes from 62.5% to 100% magnification. Other symbologies are also available including Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5, Code 128, EAN-13, SSCC-18, UPC-A and UPC-E
• A single PEL/2560 Series printhead can produce an in-spec SCC-14 bar code at 100% magnification and its human-readable interpretation within a two-inch tall print area at 100 fpm

• A single PEL/1920 Series printhead prints this code and text at 62.5% magnification within a one-inch tall print area at 250 fpm
